The Agricultural Community Foundation is an entrepreneurial village in Namadzi, Malawi, focusing on regenerative, innovative and sustainable farming and female led SMEs. Founded in 2023, ACF is an evolving community initiative. Current ACF projects include beekeeping, organic vegetables, fruit seedlings, indigenous tree nursery and goat and sheep breeding; with future plans for aquaponics, dairy, fruit orchard and free range poultry.
ACF is funded by African Lakes Philanthropy (formerly the Scottish Malawi Foundation) and is in partnership with Saint Andrews Macadamia.
Mission
The mission of ACF is to provide learning and financial opportunities in rural communities in Malawi through sustainable, entrepreneurial and regenerative agricultural villages.
